Under a read more because I give long answers jesus
5. What’s something about your character that you’d like if you had to spend time with them?
We have a lot of the same reading tastes and tastes in music- even though I enjoy more ranges of music, we do have some overlap when it comes to music. especially Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco
6. What’s something about your character that you wouldn’t like if you had to spend time with them?Probably how mean she can sound at times? There’s also the fact that she’s not trusting of a lot of people. I’ve been writing her for almost a month and she’s still not telling me everything. She’s super secretive and while yes, I will respect her privacy, it will bug me that she doesn’t trust me enough while I trust her.7. What’s a negative thing about your character that you enjoy writing?
I LOVE WRITING HER SASS it can be a good or a bad thing but STILL I LOVE WRITING SASS, OH MY GOD. I also love writing her just... sobbing, in tears for the days when she misses her parents. Mainly her dad. Her mother passed away when she was young so there wasn’t that much of a relationship but, she had a great friendship with her father since it was just the two of them and like, there are some days where she’ll go “Oh, my dad would have loved that.” or where a few of the smallest things can bring her to the verge of tears.
8. What;s a similarly you have with your character?
um sass 10 pounds of sass in a 5 pound bag like wow no chill over here. Both Blake and I enjoy reading classic books (my personal favorite is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley) and we both have lost people we cared about? Mine weren’t related by blood like Blake’s family but, I did consider them family.
9. What’s a difference you have with your character?
One big thing is that she actually liked her parents (her dad, at least. From what she’s heard, her mom was the best too). I actually have a very rocky relationship with my parents (hence why I’m not a huge fan of this time of year) whereas Blake... didn’t.
10. What’s the hardest thing for you to write?
Writing about her missing her parents. I know what it’s like to miss a friend or someone who I considered to be one of my moms but my actual parents? I don’t know that feeling of one of the people who took care of you is gone in an instant- especially at the hands of someone else.
Blake had to see this for herself. Her footsteps were silent as she traveled through the cemetery- heading to where he was rumored to be buried. The faunus slowed when she saw the name shine in the light.
Roman Torchwick.
She scoffed before looking around-- still not believing this was real. Her eyes floated back on the grave before her lips curled up in a snarl. A small wet spot appeared on the marker followed by her shadow.
